India is one place where Supercars and entry level hatchbacks go hand in hand. Almost all Supercar brands are getting serious about the Indian market due to the high demands for such exotics and the same goes true for Maserati as well.
IndianAutosBlog reports that though the company is yet to (officially) announce their super-luxury SUV for India, the Levante, Automobili Ardent has managed to let the cat out of the bag by posting this picture of the Levante in Bangalore. It seems the SUV has been delivered to its first Indian customer.
The Maserati Levante uses the same rear wheel drive platform as the Quattroporte and the Ghibli. It measures over 5 meters in length! At this point of time it is unclear which engine option has been imported into India. The Levante comes with an option of three units which include two versions of the 3.0-litre petrol and one version of the 3.0-litre diesel.
Expect the Levante to carry a sticker price of over Rs 1 crore, making it super exclusive! Want something more special? Head over to our gallery of the new McLaren 720S.
