  1. Mahindra TUV3OO Automatic

Priced from Rs 9.2 lakh onwards, the TUV is the cheapest automatic SUV you can buy in India. Available in three versions in two different state of tunes (81 bhp and 100 bhp), the TUV benefits from being under 4 meters in length and hence enjoys small car tax benefits. It is also a 7 seater which makes it a bit more practical as compared to all the other SUVs here.

  2. Ford EcoSport Automatic

The cool looking EcoSport comes with one automatic version that is fully loaded with all the bells and whistles. What is unique about the EcoSport automatic is its gearbox. This is a 6-speed dual clutch transmission that helps reduce lag between gear shifts. This car scores high in terms of refinement and quality.

  3. Renault Duster Automatic

The rugged Duster comes with a choice of both petrol and diesel engine options with an automatic transmission. The company recently launched a new 1.5-litre CVT option that has also brought down the price significantly. There are a total of 3 versions to pick from, 1 in petrol and 2 in diesel. Sadly, 4×4 is not offered with the diesel AMT.

  4. Hyundai Creta Automatic

The record making Creta is also available in both petrol and diesel engine options when it comes to an automatic transmission. Infact the Creta offers the most powerful options here in both fuel types. Customers have loved this car and this is only model here with a long waiting period.

  5. Nissan Terrano Automatic

The most expensive model here is the Nissan Terrano. Sadly only one version is available for customers – this comes with a 1.5 litre diesel motor (the same seen on the Duster) but is fully loaded with features. However that said, this is the least selling model here which means resale value is low in the market.
