Top 10 Selling Cars In India
It comes as no surprise that the top 6 positions are held by Maruti cars. The only other manufacturer to fare in the top 10 list is Hyundai. A big surprise here is the premium hatchback, Baleno. No one would have ever imagined a Rs 6-8 lakh hatchback being sold in such numbers!

Best Selling Hatchbacks
Maruti rules this segment and how – the Alto, Baleno and WagonR are the top selling hatchbacks in India. It should also be noted that the Alto is among one of the oldest cars still on sale in India, followed by the WagonR.
Best Selling Sedans
The Dzire has for long been India’s favorite sedan and the new version further improves on that. Its own elder sibling comes in at the second spot followed closely by the Honda City. Inspite of a price hike due to GST, the Ciaz continues to sell in huge numers

Indians love SUVs and this evident in terms of sales figures – the Brezza is India’s 4th largest selling vehicle! The Creta is still selling in great numbers while the good old Bolero manages to cling onto spot no 3
Best Selling MUVs
No surprises here – the Innova beats the other two cheaper MUVs by a huge margin. The Omni is in good demand in smaller towns and is followed closely by the 7 seater Ertiga.
